The Colombian Biodiversity Standard (COLBS) is a certification framework created by Canal Clima to recognize projects that generate net gains in biodiversity. Through technical and methodological criteria, COLBS establishes how to quantify, verify, and certify results in conservation, ecological restoration, and sustainable use of ecosystems.
Its purpose is to promote reliable, high-impact projects, strengthen territorial governance, and facilitate access to national and international financial incentives for BIODIVERSITY initiatives.
COLBS invites you to explore the Biodiversity Protocol. Discover how to create a positive impact on nature and the environment through conservation, restoration, and sustainable use of ecosystems within international voluntary and regulated mechanisms.
Download it in Spanish and English.
